This course, “Project and Resource Planning with Oracle Primavera Cloud,” is specifically designed for experienced project planners who are already familiar with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Oracle Primavera Cloud offers an advanced and integrated platform, enabling familiar planning principles and processes to be further refined and optimized—now supported by modern cloud functionalities and extensive collaboration capabilities.

As a seasoned planner, you will find that the Schedule Engine of Oracle Primavera Cloud aligns with your existing knowledge, while also providing new insights and efficiencies, for example through dynamic program and portfolio management, advanced views, and progress monitoring. The course focuses on advanced aspects of project planning, such as importing and converting existing P6 projects, effectively using filters and groupings, and utilizing resource dashboards.

Theoretical explanations are kept concise: the emphasis is on practical workshops where you will get hands-on experience right away. Among other things, you will learn how to easily migrate existing P6 or MS Project schedules and create reports that are directly tailored to stakeholders’ needs. You will not need to re-enter activities, establish dependencies, or assign resources—we assume you already master these skills. With this approach, you will be fully prepared to harness the power of Oracle Primavera Cloud in complex project environments and elevate your trusted planning skills to the next level.

This course is intended for experienced Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project planners who want to learn to work with modern project management software. Experience in creating project schedules is essential. If you do not yet have this knowledge, we recommend first taking the course “Project Planning with Oracle Primavera Cloud.”
