Project Planning with Oracle Primavera Cloud
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Oracle Primavera Cloud, a robust project and portfolio management tool that goes beyond basic Gantt charts. With an advanced Schedule Engine, it helps planners manage complex projects efficiently.

Key areas covered include project planning and progress tracking, where you’ll learn how to manage deadlines, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The course offers practical workshops to help you confidently use the platform’s features and workflows in your own projects.

Course Outline:

Day 1:

• Introduction to Oracle Primavera Cloud
• Personal settings and notifications
• Creating projects, portfolios, and activities
• Dependencies and scheduling
• Formatting Gantt charts

Day 2:

• Calendars, constraints, and activity codes
• Baselines, scenarios, and schedule comparisons
• Printing and exporting schedules

Cost Control with Oracle Primavera Cloud
This course focuses on resource and cost management, divided into two parts. The first part covers capacity planning, teaching you how to allocate resources, resolve constraints, and manage resources across projects. The second part dives into Earned Value Management (EVM), where you’ll learn how to track project costs and performance using metrics like CPI and SPI.

Day 3:

• Resource allocation and leveling
• Resource analytics and updates
• Cost control and Earned Value analysis
• Creating forecasts and cost reports

This course is ideal for beginner and experienced project planners. Some experience in project scheduling and cost control is a plus, but not required.
