ARAM Academy Course Terms and Conditions
General
These terms and conditions apply in addition to our Aram Group General Terms and Conditions of Delivery for all training courses provided by ARAM Academy.
Registration
You can register by submitting the fully completed registration form or by sending an email. Upon receipt of your registration, ARAM Academy will immediately send you a confirmation of your registration. ARAM Academy does not verify whether the form has been signed by an authorized person. We reserve the right to reject a registration without providing a reason and will notify the applicant accordingly.
Course Progression
The course is taught as described on the current website www.aramacademy.com at the time of registration. If there are not enough participants for a course date, we will cancel the course and invite you to the next available course. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices
Our prices are based on current costs, such as materials, wages, and statutory levies. We reserve the right to adjust our prices if these factors change.
All prices are exclusive of VAT. If you’re taking the course at our office in Capelle aan den IJssel, catering is included in the price.
Cancellation
Cancellations must always be made in writing, by email to info@aramacademy.com. The moment we receive your cancellation notice is considered the moment of cancellation.
If you cancel within 7 calendar days before the start of the course, you will be charged the full course fee.
If you are unable to attend, someone else may take your place.
Postponement
Would you like to take the course at a different time? If so, please submit a written request via email to info@aramacademy.com. We will only approve your request if you confirm in writing and without reservation that you will participate in the next available course following your original registration and pay the course fee on time.
Payment
Our standard payment term is 30 days after invoicing and must be paid prior to the training, unless otherwise agreed.
If you do not pay on time, we may terminate the agreement and charge you for any costs incurred and any damage suffered.
Course Materials, Authorship, and Copyright
Copyright is held by ARAM Academy BV. The course materials are available worldwide 24/7 via our learning platform for the period specified in the course information. You will receive a personal reading license, which allows you to access the materials digitally for a limited time, exclusively for your own personal use. A reading license is not a form of ownership, as with a hardcopy book, but a temporary right of use. You are not permitted to share the license, copy the material, distribute it, or use it for any purpose other than your own study. At the end of the period, the reading license can easily be renewed through the learning platform for a small fee. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an ARAM Academy certificate.
AI Coach and AI Support – Disclaimer
Within the learning platform, students can use an AI Coach and AI support. These features are intended as supplementary learning aids and provide automatically generated answers based on available information. Although these answers are generated with care, Aram Academy B.V. cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information provided. The user remains solely responsible for the interpretation and application of the content.
Access to the learning platform
In the week leading up to your course, you will receive access to our learning platform. You are responsible for verifying your information and setting your password. Your access is guaranteed for the duration of the course and the subsequent period as specified in the course information. Aram Academy B.V. periodically checks login frequency. If you do not log in for more than two months, Aram Academy B.V. reserves the right to deactivate your account. Upon request, your account can be reactivated if you wish to extend access to the course materials for future reference.
Course Certificate
After completing the course, you can download your course certificate in PDF format from our learning platform. You can share this certificate with your employer yourself. The certificate will remain available as long as you have access to the learning platform. Aram Academy B.V. does not issue hardcopy certificates.
Other provisions
If a participant is (partially) absent, the tuition fee will not be (partially) refunded.
Cancellation of a course or part thereof never entitles the participant to compensation.
Both the participant and the registrant are jointly and severally liable for damage to property belonging to ARAM or third parties caused by the participant during the course or training. Damage directly resulting from course activities is not covered by this provision.
