AMC – 600 AI-Assisted Planning and Risk Management
AMC – 600 AI-Assisted Planning and Risk Management
Project schedules are becoming increasingly large, complex, and dynamic. Especially in multidisciplinary projects, the number of activities, relationships, interfaces, and dependencies is growing rapidly. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult to develop, analyze, and maintain schedules entirely by hand.
Artificial Intelligence offers new ways to support planners in developing, evaluating, and optimizing project schedules. AI does not replace the planner, but it can serve as a digital assistant that identifies risks, detects inconsistencies, and suggests alternatives.
This master class demonstrates how AI can support the modern planner throughout the entire project planning lifecycle.
Why this master class?
Many planners spend a large portion of their time on:
- analyzing the quality of planning;
- verifying relationships;
- debugging;
- assessing critical paths;
- identifying risks;
- answering management questions.
AI can speed up and support these tasks.
This creates more room for analysis, stakeholder management, and decision-making.
The planner is shifting from model builder to consultant.
What will you learn?
This masterclass focuses on the practical application of AI in scheduling and planning governance. Participants will learn how AI can help assess planning quality, detect missing relationships, open ends, excessive use of constraints, and other schedule health issues. In addition, the masterclass explores how AI can recognize patterns in historical schedules and use this knowledge when creating new project schedules. Attention is given to applications in which AI suggests alternative logical relationships, identifies critical interfaces, and calculates the potential consequences of changes. The role of AI in multidisciplinary projects—where multiple schedules are interconnected—is also examined. Participants will discover how AI can contribute to planning reviews, governance audits, risk analyses, and forecasting without the planner losing control over the planning process.
